Description

Hi, i had padre msi-installer 0.63 on my system and uninstalled it today. After that, my C:\strawberry folder (the first perl in PATH) is empty. At least, all files aro gone. I just have 416 empty folders there now.

I dont know if this is fixed in a newer version, cause i cant find any similar ticket.

Here some additional information to the discussion on #padre.

I already had strawberry installed. Almost one year later, when I heard about padre, I downloaded the msi-installer and installed it.

When its not allowed to install the msi package over an existing strawberry it should warn about that. A standalone padre install sounds to me that I'll get a padre folder somewhere with a strawberry inside that!

Yesterday I cleaned up my software installs and removed padre (well, its just not that what I want for $hacking). For other guys that are using another editor but want to keep hacking Perl, there should be an option to leave the strawberry folder where it is, in case it will be allowed to install the msi on existing strawberries in the future too.

So, imo one way or the other.
