Recent file list is late by one file

The recent file list doesn't include the most recently closed file.

• Open file1 and close it
• Look at the recently opened file list in the file menu - it's missing
• Open file2 and close it
• Look at the recently opened file list in the file menu - file1 is now visible, file2 is missing.

file2 will be displayed after padre is closed and reopened (WinXP/0.82).
