Functions Window does not show all functions or slowdown if source contains UTF-8

perl 5, version 12, subversion 3 (v5.12.3) built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
Wx Version=(0.99) wxWidgets 2.8.12 unicode=(1)
Padre 0.84

I have editing source file. Size is 290KB. I am seeing functions list from first 250KB of this file. But other function is not shown as expected.

I have tried to reproduce this bug with synthetic test (I have attached)
I can lock down PC for some time or can not shown functions list.

Please run attached file to generate big.pl and try to open it in Padre

to reproduce the problem please:

1. run biggen.pl - it will create big.pl
2. open big.pl in Padre
3. Go to Functions Window (ALT-N)
4. You can reopen the file again.

To get freeze please increase $j limit.

I can confirm this behavior, e.g. with Padre source file lib/Padre/Wx/Dialog/Preferences.pm
