Plugins should easily be able to

  • Receive a chunk of text and replace it
  • Get the whole file and replace it
  • Write to a separate output / status / result window

Also there should be some kind of parameter definition and passing.

  • Consider Perltidy. It should be possible to define .pertidyrc values in Padre and get to them from the plugin
