#1331 new enhancement

Specially Handle Escaped characters

Description

This is inspired atleast by gedit on ubuntu.
It would be useful if escape sequences, like \n were highlighted differently from plain text. For instance in gedit, "Hello World\n" would highlight \n differently from the words, while not for 'Hello World\n'. This makes it very clear if the chars are treated as text or escaped. I have attached an example.
