default color scheme is too flickering

hi.

I start using default color scheme, my eyes get tired in, maybe 5 mins. compared to 4-5 hours in EPIC (Eclipse) or RubyMine? (IDEA).

Possible irritants:

Light green bracket highlighting.
Run-time perl Warnings display
Bright yellow background.

Other bright colors.

Looks too flickering for persons with not very good eyes =) I spent some time tuning padre settings but still can't get it work for me with any of the schemes and be functional at same time.

Looking at other IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans? and RubyMine?/IDEA) I find they try not use irritant colors and animations..

try my perldoc.txt

it goes in

.local/share/.padre/themes/perldoc.txt

or just use it as template

also go get http://padre.perlide.org/trac/browser/trunk/Padre/eg/theme/style_perl5.pl

don't forget to view in trac with http://padre.perlide.org/trac/prefs
