hi,

in ubuntu 12.10 there's an issue with the padre Logo in the dashboard. It seems very fuzzy. I'm more a developer than a graphic artist, so please can you fix it?

Here's the test with dev version, but I've also this bug with 0.96.

can you confirm the following

/usr/share/app-install/desktop/padre:padre.desktop
/usr/share/app-install/icons/_usr_share_pixmaps_padre.png

_usr_share_pixmaps_padre.png - 16x16

if you look in dev version - Padre/share/icons/padre/64x64/logo.png

suggest you make a copy of _usr_share_pixmaps_padre.png and replace it with 64x64/logo.png

and update.

I am running gnome-shell, if you look in the padre:padre.desktop file you should be able to see what the name of the icon file is being used, then you can try a 64x64 one from padre/trunk share

I've tried, and also I've tried to run padre from svn (r19654).

issue you are running dash board in default size

padre icon is 16x16

so you need another icon - suggest 64 x 64

the following should get you started - method 4

suggest you make a custom .desktop icon then you can show us the difference between your and the one you have with a 16 x 16 icon inside.

ps this is part of development, over to you

pps I hate ubuntu unity, it sucks
