green ampersand (workload) not really intuitive

  • What is the green ampersand? It looks like someones favourite tool, that no-one has any idea what it is. By default only commonly used tools, as used by everyone, should be listed.

i agree, this should go in the statusbar

fixed with commits r4703 to r4725

the task status is now displayed in the statusbar, with the following symbols:

  • nothing when idling (instead of green ampersand)
  • hourglass when some tasks are running (instead of yellowish ampersand)
  • exclamation mark under high load

tooltips retained, same for clicking on icon to get list of running tasks.
