Description
We need some ideas about what should be in the Padre logo.
Once we know roughly what we want I can ask my partner in crime (Andy - http://andyillustrations.com/) to whip something up.
Gabor suggested a half-eaten onion, or something to do with Friar Tuck (given the religious connotations of the word "padre")

Padre is father in Spanish also used for priests and monks.
If aiming for coolness: a monk in the style of the Star Wars emperor: dark, face hidden.
If aiming for cuteness: a monk in the style of Robin Hood cartoons: a friendly franciscan.
This relates padre to perlmonks and still keeps its own style.

in that same vein, how about a camel with the collar like a priest?

Replying to simcop2387:

Camel would require approval from O'Reilly.
In the meantime, can we set the logo to an blank PNG to avoid the broken image?
