basically any use of the return value of chomp should be caught.

r8112: Added some most-likely chomp-cases and a TODO which should catch all of them as soon as the output is improved.

I'll close this ticket for the moment as there is #534 which covers the output problem and there is a TODO-comment in the source for the chomp-regexp.
