Padre crashes on first menu access

Description

  1. Open padre without any files in it
  2. Open a new empty document using Ctrl-N
  3. Press Alt-u to open the plugin menu
  4. Padre crashes

I think the same happens with any menu option.

  1. Using the mouse to click on the menu option also crashes padre

Add: It doesn't crash if any other menu (like right-click somewhere) was shown before clicking on the menu bar.

Maybe fixed in r9093 - please check and close if it's gone.
