OpenSUSE 11.2, tested on Perl 5.10.0 and 5.10.1

The text entry combobox is not enabled. No way to search with Ctrl-F

     3There's been some problems in the very most recent (the last 2-3 weeks) problems with the Find dialog, but nothing old that's been a problem.

     5There are other uses of the same code elsewhere in Padre, do a Find in Files search for "History::ComboBox".
