It would be awesome to have colorful diffs side-by-side.

I can't see how I can make tickets depend on others, so I'll just mention it here: Depends on ticket #64, split view.

I would also like to see diff between the original file, and the changed version that is currently in the editor.

If the file was changed on the disk I'd like to be able to see a 3-way diff.

If this was as good as or close to kdiff3... one can dream, right?

Padre has now a diff box (shortcut: ctrl+,). Next iteration will probably include a side-by-side coloured diff box.
