Can't get focus on OS X

Description

With Wx 0.86 using WxWidgets? 2.8.9 (and this time Wx.pm tests clean) on OS X 10.4 with Perl 5.10.0.

Padre starts fine and looks correct, it will even start with a file, but I cannot get focus or make it accept any input. It has no application icon. All I can do is double click on the window bar to minimize it and click on the window controls to resize or close it.

Please check if the Wx::Demo fom CPAN works?

are you using wxperl to launch it?

No, Wx.pm doesn't install a wxperl. There's only the one which comes with the OS. It's 5.8.6 and things like PPI won't pass tests.

Wx::Demo has the same problem as Padre, so this is not Padre's problem.

I found the wxPerl binary and got padre working, yay!
