Escape key does not work most of the time in the regex editor

Hitting "Esc" does not close the Regex Editor under most circumstances, in particular in the state after opening the dialog.

It does not close on hitting the Esc key when the cursor is in the different input fields.

It does after selecting character classes, selecting options, and insert, i.e. when the focus is not in the text fields.

The fix was not complete, if the focus was in the two result fields, Esc did not work.
