should not use checkbox to select current file

See attached screenshot.
The typical semantics of checkboxes is that you can select several of them (or none).

This does not apply here: You can only select one file for being the current file, so radiobuttons would be more suitable here.

"Problem" persists.
Instead of a radio button, no buttons at all would also work.
