Installation using the Package Manager

Mandriva 2009.0 comes with pre-packaged Padre 0.10. Mandriva 2009.1 will ship Padre 0.29. Mandriva cooker (development version) is following upstream quite closely.

To install padre:

# urpmi perl-Padre

Installation from CPAN

Mandriva 2008.1

To install Padre enter the following commands:

# urpmi perl-Alien-wxWidgets
# urpmi perl-Wx
$ cpan
cpan> install Padre
