About the Translators
As with most of the open source projects the default language of Padre is English. As with any other technology we believe that removing as many obstacles from the user as possible will just make their life easier. Hence we encourage the translation of the Padre GUI (and later on that of the documentation) to other languages as well.
This page is here so the translators can write a few words about themselves and/or about Padre in their own languages. For every translator there is a link to the developers page with an English description of why are they involved in the project.

Dlaczego jesteś zaangażowany w projekt Padre?
Ponieważ jestem już znudzony ciągłymi kłótniami o miejscu Perla w przeszłości czy też, że nie ma nawet najprostszego IDE. Myślę, że IDE napisane w Perlu jest odpowiednią odpowiedzią na takie zarzuty.
Jeśli chodzi o to w jaki sposób zostałem zaangażowany, Gábor mnie zmusił :) Dał mi dostęp do repozytorium!

Trabajo como traductor técnico y localizador de software desde hace muchos años y Perl es una de mis herramientas imprescindibles.
Creo que el proyecto Padre puede ser de gran utilidad para la comunidad Perl. Padre es un editor dedicado que mejora continuamente y ofrece muchas posibilidades, como la oportunidad de aprender a programar interfaces multiplataforma en wxPerl. Personalmente, la traducción de la interfaz del programa principal me está sirviendo para probar herramientas de traducción open source.
